Ground ControlUE4 Mega Jam 2019


What is it: 2 player game made for the theme "Down To Earth". One player is in a Spaceship trying to return to earth and survive reentry as their ship falls apart. The other player is in ground control telling the player in the Spaceship where their issues are and how to fix them.

Team Size: 5

Duration: 7 days

What I did: Networking code which included Steam matchmaking and a server browser. Programmed Two networked characters, one that was a third person character who ran around interacting on a ship and the other who was first person in a control room. Project was done using Blueprints.

What is it: Virtual Reality Kart Racer that I made to learn VR, C++, and Networking.

Duration: 6 Months

What I did: Network replicated kart movement system, pooled item spawning system, and grabbable items all implemented in C++ - some Blueprints were used to extend the C++ base classes.
Last Day In The Park UE4 Summer Jam 2019


What is it: Virtual Reality game where you play with your dog in the park.

Duration: 5 Days

What I did: Programmed AI for playing frisbee and fetch. Made a bike racing mini game and treat giving mini game. Project was done using pure blueprints. All modeling was done by me.
Stranded On Mars UE4 Summer Jam 2018


What is it: Wave style 3D tower defense game made for the game jam theme "Well that escalated quickly". Player has a budget of buildings that can be placed down and has to place different turrets to defend their base.

Duration: 5 Days

What I did: Programmed taser turret that can jump from enemy to enemy, emote wheel widget and implementation, wave AI that would attack the closet turret or the base. Project was done using Blueprints.
VR Spin Bike Project Personal Programming Project April 2020


What is it: VR project running on the Oculus Quest that converts spin bike pedaling into in-game input. You race 60 other bikes in a lap around an island.

Team Size: 1

Duration: 2 Weeks

What I did: Programmed basic vehicle path finding code that would allow AI to stay on the course and react to other bikes coming near them. I also figured out how to convert input from an aux cord on the spin bike into in game movement through taking the average over a time of the intensity of the mic value. Project used a mix of C++ and blueprints.

What is it: Single player platformer made for the theme of "Transformation". The game is set inside of a factory that is trying to destroy the player and the player has to gain upgrades to escape.

Team Size: 5

Duration: 5 Days

What I did: Programmed the final boss AI, moving platforms, and player death. Project used blueprints.
Cobble Global Game Jam 2020


What is it: Single player platformer made for the theme of "Repair". The game is set inside of a clocktower and you have to use gears to power different contraptions to escape the tower.

Team Size: 8

Duration: 48 Hours

What I did: Programmed spline based moving platforms, tileset generator for the 2.5D style, gear mechanics to allow contraptions to be powered and unpowered. Project was a mix of C++ and Blueprints.
